Eid Mubarak!

Wishing everyone Eid Mubarak 1430H!

Please forgive... for any misunderstood words or wrong doings on my part.

May Allah accept all our good deeds and may we get to see Ramadhan again next year, Insha Allah (God willing….)

PS. The nest is quiet now, no more whimpers or sweet baby talk from little baby Ameer Ihsan nor chatters from his talkative elder sister Nuha Insyirah. They have left for down south, to be with their father’s side of the family, having spent the last few days of Ramadhan with us. And so, my other half and I decided to start the six days of fasting in Shawal. If we don’t make a start, probably we will not make it at all. Good deeds shouldn’t wait, right?

The group photo, with every one in white, looks good for an album. Twenty yeras today it will be appreciated.
Our ten grandchildren really created havoc for a few days. And my computer chose to crash.Now when all the excitement is over the two of us are beginning to pick up the pieces. It was a joyous hari raya season for us. More than 50 ex Almanar pupils came round. It was a great feeling for us - that they remember.; September 26, 2009 at 5:01 PM

These dewdrops...

These dewdrops of opaline hues…
Clinging on till their time is due…
But even in that tiny spell…
They do their best to dwell…
On their duty to dispel…
The rays dancing through their prismic crystal…
As such too we should do…
As long as our hearts still continue to chime…
And the early morning rays spill of sunshine...
When hark! Our ears behold sweet melodies from our feathery friend…
Then good deeds, helping hands we should lend...
True to our words as long as we can still stand…
While beneath our feet, this good earth lay…
Whose days too are numbered and ebbing away…
Just like the dewdrops which sit fizzling…
On edges of leaves so green and appealing…
And on petal rims softly unfolding…

6th book - Come! BE a Writer!...

I wanted this book to be of use regularly, always referred to, to act as a fountain of ideas for those who aspire to be writers and wish to live as one. This book is about writing. Therefore, do not just read it. Instead, use it. Often.
